Parked TV is made by an independent developer. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

In short: Parked TV has no account, does not track you and does not collect personal data.

What stays on your iPhone

Your playlists, media servers, favorites, Continue Watching, settings and the videos you add from Photos or Files are stored only on your iPhone. They are deleted when you delete the app.

Location

Parked TV uses your location for driving directions, to find nearby parking, fuel and EV charging, for speed camera alerts, and to show video on the car screen only while the car is parked.

To find nearby places, the app sends your current area to the OpenStreetMap map service (overpass-api.de) and shows the results. Parked TV does not store your location or share it with anyone else.

Microphone, speech and camera

The microphone and Apple's speech recognition are used only when you speak a website or a search. The camera is used only to scan QR codes for playlists. Parked TV keeps no recordings or images.

Your media sources

When you add a playlist or a media server, the app connects directly to that address to play your content. Parked TV does not provide, host or see your content.

Websites

Websites you open in Discover, such as YouTube, have their own privacy policies and may use cookies.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. Parked TV never receives your payment details.

Analytics, ads and tracking

This version of Parked TV contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. If that changes, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated first.

This website

parkedtv.app uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security, which are deleted automatically.

Children

Parked TV is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
